Since it is natural Mustard oil cake is environment friendly and contains all the nutrients that are required for a healthy plant. Typical NPK ratio of Mustard oil cake powder stands at 4-1-1. Mustard oil cakes are a very good source of organic Magnesium, Sulphur, Manganese and Zinc among other trace elements. Mustard oil cake powder can be used to make fertilizer tea which can then be used to irrigate the plants and also provide nutrition. It can also be used in a direct application to soil, in this form it is beneficial for Soil dwelling organisms and thus creates and living soil.\u003cbr\u003e\n \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eForm: \u003c\/strong\u003eThis product is in powdered form for easy broadcasting and making tea for foliar and fertigation application.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eDosage: \u003c\/strong\u003eOne cup (approx. 25-30 grams) every 12 inches of pot diameter. Application is however plant dependent but as thumb rule application can be safely done every 45 days (However user judgement is requested). If the plant is larger, quantity can be increased (suggested increment in quantity is 1\/2 cup for every 1-foot increase in diameter of pot or height of the plant). Dosage of the fertilizer can be increased depending upon the plants requirement, soil condition and climate.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eApplication: \u003c\/strong\u003eDig a trench around 2-3 inches deep all around the plant leaving 3 inches from the plant trunk (refer picture). Uniformly spread the fertilizer (it is recommended to start with 25 grams of the fertilizer) in the trench and then cover the trench with soil. Once the tea is brewed mix this water with other 5 liters of fresh water to make a 10-liter solution and water plants with this.
