Mode of Action: Chlorpyrifos works by inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in insects, which is essential for nerve signal transmission. This results in the accumulation of acetylcholine, leading to continuous nerve impulse transmission, paralysis, and ultimately death of the insect.

Katyayani Chloro 20 is a chemical insecticide formulated with Chlorpyriphos 20% in an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation. It effectively controls a broad range of insect pests through contact action and fumigant action, disrupting the nervous system of insects and poisoning them through inhalation of its vapors.

Mode of Action:

  • Contact Action: Disrupts nerve impulse transmission in the nervous system, leading to paralysis and death.
