Mode of Action: Propoxur inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which is essential for nerve function. This inhibition causes the accumulation of acetylcholine at nerve synapses, leading to overstimulation of the insect's nervous system, paralysis, and ultimately death.


Description:
Katyayani Proxur-20 is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation used for controlling a variety of pests. It is effective against flies, cockroaches, mosquitoes, bedbugs, ants, and more. This product also has broad-spectrum activity in agriculture, managing pests such as aphids, beetles, leafhoppers, and caterpillars commonly found on vegetables, fruits, and ornamental plants.

Composition: 20% Propoxur

Target Pests: Flies, cockroaches, bed bugs, mosquitoes, ants, jassids, aphids, whiteflies, thrips, bollworms, fruit borers, leaf miners, termites, and other pests.

Dosage:

  • Sucking Pests: 500-750 ml/acre
  • Chewing Pests: 750-1000 ml/acre
  • General Application: 25 ml per liter of water


Directions for Use:

  • Mix with 200-250 liters of water.
  • Spray evenly on crops, focusing on the undersides of leaves.
  • Apply in early morning or evening.
  • Repeat every 7-10 days if needed.

  • Avoid spraying near water bodies or on food crops.
