Mode of Action of Carbendazim 50% WP

SuperStin works systemically with both protective and curative properties:

  • Absorbed by the plant and translocated through the xylem
  • When applied to roots, it moves intercellularly into the xylem and towards foliage
  • Foliar application allows movement to distal leaf parts, though not towards roots
  • Inhibits fungal spore germination, germ tube development, appressoria formation, and mycelial growth


 

Dosage of Carbendazim 50% WP

  • Paddy:

    • Blast, Stem Rot, False Smut
    • Spray: 100–200 gm
    • Seed treatment: 2 gm/kg seed


  • Wheat:
    • Smut
    • Seed treatment: 2 gm/kg seed


  • Groundnut:
    • Tikka Disease
    • 50–100 gm per acre (Foliar spray)


  • Pea:
    • Powdery Mildew
    • 100 gm (Foliar spray)


  • Cotton:
    • Root Rot, Collar Rot, Anthracnose, Leaf Spot
    • 100 gm (Foliar spray)


  • Pumpkin:
    • Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose
